Rocky Mountain Nature Association Field Seminar
These one- or two-day seminars designed for 8-12-year-olds and interested parents. Parent participation is not
required but is encouraged, especially with younger children. Wii enthusiasts spend their time in front of a screen;
"Wee" participants spend their time in beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park. Kids and parents can find real
adventure in activities that will create the spark which ignites the desire to spend more time in the outdoors; learn
about stewardship, and develop appreciation for our national parks. Enjoy scavenger hunts, and learn about safe
hiking skills, bouldering on the rock faces, and "leave no trace" practices. Day 1 will focus on mountains and
valleys, the physical aspects of RMNP. Day 2 will focus on plants and animals of Rocky.
